At Bizzy, we want to give you not only the best data, but also the best user experience. That’s why we use smart technology (AI) to help you search and filter. With just a few clicks, you can build a relevant prospect list.
How does Bizzy AI work?
Understands synonyms and languages:
Searching for “drinks”? Bizzy also finds companies mentioning “beverages” or “boissons”. This way, you won’t miss anything, even in other languages.
Understands word meanings:
For example: a “bank” to sit on is different from a financial bank. Bizzy understands the difference and shows better results.
Adapts to your search:
Results are grouped by meaning, not just by keyword.
Searching for “bikes for commuting”? Bizzy also shows results like “electric bikes” or “bike leasing” because these are related.
Tip: Try out different words or examples in your search – you’ll see the results change with you.
Active AI filters: choose what to look for
These smart filters help you find companies based on content, not just checkboxes or codes.
Lookalike companies (similar to your ideal clients)
Read more about using Lookalikes in Bizzy.
With “Lookalikes”, you find companies similar to your current clients or other examples. You select up to five companies with similar activities, and Bizzy reads their websites to learn what makes them unique. Then, AI looks for other companies with similar traits.
Important: This search is based only on activities – not on location, size, or other company details. You can combine this activity-based filter with others like location or size if needed.
- Start with a list of clients or select up to 5 companies manually.
- Bizzy reads their websites and finds similar ones.
- Each result gets an AI match score – the higher the score, the closer the match.
- You can add more filters (e.g. sector, size, location) to narrow it down.
Tip: Try using fewer reference companies to make your search broader.
Example: After a trade show, sales teams use this filter to follow up. They enter details from business cards and quickly find similar companies in our database – perfect for expanding your leads.
Social media topics
This filter focuses on topics companies post about online, through LinkedIn. AI scans these posts and recognizes the themes. You can find companies talking about topics that matter to you.
- Add a filter and go to “Updates”
- Find the Social media topics filter under “Updates” > “Social Media topics”

4. AI finds relevant companies, even if they don’t use the exact term.
5. Each result gets an AI match score, just like Lookalikes.
Example: Searching for companies talking about “sustainability”? Bizzy also finds companies discussing “circular economy”, “green innovation” or “CO₂ reduction” – AI knows these topics are related.
Website topics
Add a filter and go to “Company”
Open “Company” > “Website” > “Website topic”
This filter looks at the home page content of a company and works like the Social Media topics filter.
- Choose one or more topics that interest you
- AI matches companies with those topics on their websites.
- It’s fully automatic and in real-time.
This filter often goes more in-depth compared to NACE/SBI/NAF codes and even activities.
Example: A company registered as an “IT provider” may focus on “cybersecurity” or “data analysis” – this filter picks that up.
Combine filters = Search smarter
You can combine these AI filters with others like:
- Number of employees
- Region
- Job titles
